Akershus or Garden Grill?

I can't decide which of these to choose. We ate at Akershus last October and it was great! We have also eaten at GG, but it was 5 years ago. Some of the other character meals we are planning are:
dinner at Chef Mickey's, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare.

It would make my decision a lot easier if LTT still had a character meal. I would choose Akershus for sure!

What are the age/gender of the kids involved, if any?

Girls, DEFINITELY Akershus. Plus, if you're going for breakfast, they've really improved the spread of food. There's still the unlimited skillet breakfast and now there is a cold buffet FILLED with meats, cheeses, and fruits.

I also LOVE Garden Grill but more for the atmosphere of the surrounding Land ride than for the characters.

The food is good at both places. You've got a tough decision to make.

Our family likes both of these restaurants. If you have little girls, I would choose Akershus. Both my husband and I love the food and the atmosphere. We've had both lunch and dinner, but not breakfast. My son, however, prefers the Garden Grill. He is still young enough to like princesses, but he did not like the food at all at Akershus. He loved the food and the characters at the Garden Grill. This is a hard choice. If you are already doing Chef Mickey's, Akershus may be the better choice. You will already get to see Mickey.
