We have 2 little girls and miraculously scored both breakfast and dinner reservations at Akershus. This is one character meal we haven't done yet. A few questions for the experts:
1. What is better in terms of number of Princesses- Breakfast or Dinner?

2. Better in terms of food- Breakfast or Dinner?

3. Do the majority of little girls wear Princess dresses? We have a plethora of dresses so I would just need to have the girls choose and I would need to remember to pack them. Do the little girls who don't dress up stick out?

Thanks Everyone!

We have only done breakfast there. It was very good. There is a cold buffet with pastries, fruit, salads and such. Then also there is a platter served family style with cheesy potatoes, scrambled eggs, bacon, and sausage. We saw Belle when we first entered and a picture with her was included in our price. Then we had Ariel, Aurora, Snow White, and Cinderella come around to our table. They all posed for pictures and danced with the kids. There was great character interaction. My daughter did not wear a princess dress and did not stick out. There were a few girls in those dresses but not the majority. We really enjoyed breakfast and now we are curious and want to try lunch or dinner.

We have done breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Akershus. The # of princesses is the same regardless of the meal. It's usually (it can change) Belle up front for pictures and then 4 other princesses on rotation doing M&Gs in the dining room. This last trip we had Jasmine, Aurora, Snow White, and Ariel in the dining room...but the 2 visits prior we had Cindy instead of Jasmine. My friend also went Christmas week and got Belle in Holiday red vs. yellow. I also have one friend who get Ariel for the photo op- guess Belle was sick.

Food wise, we prefer lunch and dinner over breakfast. The food isn't overly exotic, but I just liked the variety and the few extra items on the cold buffet much better for lunch and dinner.

As for attire, you'll see a mix. I'd say on each of our visits, half of the girls were in princess gear and half weren't. We usually do not do princess attire at Akershus-just things like tutus, but plenty do...so you won't feel out of place if your kiddos show up in princess gear :goodvibes:thumbsup2
