AK - What Animals are in each Savannah View

We are staying at AKV in May and I'd like to know if I should request a Savannah view. Are giraffes on all the Savannahs? Do any of them have animals the others don't?

If you are interested in giraffes, we had the BEST view of the male giraffes both times we stayed at AKL. We had a room toward the end of the Kudu Trail, facing the Sunset Savannah. This is where the male giraffe barn is. The three giraffes are out and about all the time!

There is also a watering hole here that brings cattle, antelope, tommies, ostriches (you can see one of those huge birds taking a dirt bath - too funny!). And watching the giraffes drink is amazing.

The next time we stayed, we had a one-bedroom suite that faced the same section, and loved it.

The first time we stayed at AKL, we checked in at night. We ate dinner and went to bed. In the middle of the night, I got up and looked out our balcony, and here comes a giraffe, just strolling along in the moonlight. I'll NEVER forget that.

We will be doing our first stay at AKV this year. I have read many people say the Sunset Savannah is the view they would recommend the least. Harambe, were you there during construction of the new Kidani House?

No - both trips were before any construction! Maybe it's all changed now. That'd break my heart!

I know Disney makes money from progress, but it's sad that you can never count on things to be the same. DS named these three male giraffes Larry, Moe, and Curley, and now when we return, we won't know if they're the same three guys or not! (Actually, we found out that the largest giraffe is named Bruce . . .)
