AK third week in October 2026

Crowd calendar shows AK as "very busy" -- you know, the red triangle -- during 3 of the 4 days we'll be there Oct 20/21/22. Any idea why? Trying to work our schedule around the MNSSHP schedule and go to MK on a party day but this is toying with my proposed scheduling lol. I Googled events at AK but it didn't go anywhere.

I don’t see it as being crazy busy at AK on the crowd calendar I use. (6/5/4 for those dates) I will say though usually pretty reliable this particular service missed on their predictions on our most recent trip in Nov

Because all parks will be very busy as that's like peak Fall Break...

The third week in October is fall break where? Certainly not in the Northeast or actually anywhere on the east coast that I know of. There is Indigenous Day (aka Columbus Day) but that's the first Monday of October and is a three day weekend for most students in MA but not a lot of companies consider it a paid holiday anymore.

Yes, those are the numbers I see as well. Below where each park is listed with favorable (green checks) and non-favorable for the day, there is a red triangle that says "very busy day" and AK is listed there on those days (or maybe its just two of those days)?

Fall Break, Food and Wine festival crowds, Halloween, many rides unavailable as they re-construct the old Dino area...and everybody wants a Dole Whip with RUM. I speak for myself.

We were in WDW from Oct 20 to 25 last year. Three of our five nights were party nights at MK, leaving us with only two nights in that park. One of the party nights was for a big convention. In spite of that inconvenience, we had a great time. The weather was gorgeous with low humidity, temps in the low 80's, and no rain for our stay. I didn't notice crowds being especially bad, but then I know how to avoid them.

That's great to hear. With an almost 3 year old (trip is to celebrate her birthday) we are planning rope drop 6-7 hour days and then resort time after the parks so MK will be a party day hopefully with lower crowds. I'm going to assume AK will not be too crowded regardless of what the crowd calendar says but it did give me pause.
