I wasn't expecting this, but the animals were fantastic when we went in 2004. We were there beginning the Thursday after Thanksgiving and the weather was beautiful. We took the safari first thing in the morning and TONS of animals were out. Very close to the vehicles too. We got some great pics...Think we ended up with over 100 just from AK!

We were there the first week in January 2004 in a deluxe savannah view. The animals were very active on all the savannah's as well as the viewing areas. We also experienced the Sunrise Safari on the one the coldest mornings. It was in the 20's with frost everywhere . We still enjoyed seeing all the animals while wearing our winter coats and covered with wool blankets. Enjoy
