AK/ FP for Nemo or Lion King

We don't adore AK so we only go every few years. I was looking at FP for AK and would need to make one for Nemo or Lion King. Any suggestions as to which would be easier to do without a FP? I don't remember how big the theatres are or how many shows per day. Any suggestions would be appreciated! Thank you!

I think the lion king show seating is good no matter where you sit. We walked in to a seating and sat 6 to 8 rows up. Great view. There is a lot of height and size to the show. The theatre has four sections with 15-20 rows. The performance is in the center.

We enjoyed being closer in Nemo. It's a single stage.

Thank you wondermamam16! In all of our times at Disney, this is only our third visit to AK. The first year we went, our AK morning was a disaster. Hot, muggy, and almost nothing was open. In 3 hours all we managed was the safari so we left for DHS. We went back 2-3 years ago and really enjoyed the shows. BUT I could NOT remember anything about being inside the theatre. Your info was so very helpful ! Thank you...

We were there on Friday 6/10. I had Lion King as my 4th FP of the day (for the 3pm show). When we got there about 15 minutes before showtime, the FP line was still outside - they hadn't started letting people in. When they did let us in, they didn't scan cards/bands to verify FPs. I don't know if they typically do scan, but I would have been annoyed if I'd used one of my 3 FPs for that show.

Yes, that would have been frustrating.

I keep forgetting about the 4th FP. Last year they were still using the kiosks for them and it was a waste of time. I knew it was terrible when we were at DHS and by 2pm (on a fairly light day) the FP for The GReat Movie Ride were gone for the day.
