AK - Flame Tree or Tusker House?

I'm doing 1 day at AK where I will be using counter service. It's me, DH and 2 kids (7 and 4).

Which CS would you choose?

Flame tree is outside dining so to get a pleasant break the Tusker House - decent sit down food even though they call it counter food. Nice atmosphere.

It depends on what your fam wants to eat. Both offer an entree salad, but one does rotisserie chicken, or salmon and mased pot. w veggies, and the other does BBQ with baked beans and corn on the cob.

Flame Tree!!! It is really good.

Whichever you are closest to when the crew gets hungry. Both have tasty options, IMO.

Tusker house would be our #1 choice. The chicken sandwich, roast chicken and the salad....... YUMMY

I LOVE the salmon at Tusker House! LOVE IT!!! Dh is a BBQ guy, so, it just depends on what you like, or what you are in the mood for that day. We may have to split up and do both next trip!

We're doing Tusker because we like the menu options better. Compare menus and see what you come up with.

I have not been to the Tusker house, so I cannot really compare, but....
Flame Tree was dh's favorite meal of our entire trip last Feb, including all the nice TS restaurants we ate at! We are going back in March and he has requested to eat there again. It is probably the only restaurant we will repeat besides a few character meals for the kiddos. He thought the ribs were some of the best he has had. He is a real "foodie", so I thought it was pretty funny that a CS meal kept him happy!

Both are very good, IMO. But I think I would choose Tusker House. I feel like they give you more bang for your buck.
