okay I made selections went to touringplans.com to input and get a schedule. But it has me crisscrossing the park all day now even with minimizing walking. I think I'm missing something. So help please? I would like to make a circle around the park. My first pass currently is safari at 9:25. I was thinking that would be a good time to then get to lion king at 10? Then circle to the right from there. Should I switch and go the other way and start with dinoland? Dinosaur won't be open and I am using baby swap for expedition and Kali river. I've only been once to WDW and AK was my oldest's favorite, but 9-5 was not enough time. It looks like now the park will be open until 8pm.

You won't be able to make the 10am Lion King show.

However, you can make it if you do Safari right at Rope Drop. Do you plan to be there for Rope Drop? If so, you won't need a FP for Safari at that time.

You could then schedule FPs for Everest, Kali, and Dinosaur. Your idea of making a big circle in the park should work out fine, I think.

Do you plan to be there for Rope Drop?

Thank you for responding. I am going to do my best to be at rope drop. We are doing HS the day before so it should be an early night. Hopefully we will be adjusted to time change and the bus doesn't take forever. Would going in reverse be a better option you think? I didn't see any shows before so I would like to this time. Wit the exception of tough to be a bug. All reports are is its the same as DCA.

I think the key factor is the timing of the other two shows (Nemo and Flights of Wonder) and your lunch restaurant location.

You can check out the show times for the current week at http://wdwent.com/ (may not be exactly the same times during your week, but very likely to be).

Once you have left Africa (with Safari and Lion King behind you), you won't find the distances between Asia, Dinoland, and Discovery Island all that great even if you end up doing some backtracking.

If you plan to do Rafiki's Planet Watch, I would do it after Lion King and before leaving Africa.

We didn't. make an reservations for lunch. With two little kids and time change I didn't want to have to be at a set location to eat if no one was hungry.
