AK, EP, HS days + changing up days (edited 1st post)

Star Tours is usually w/o long lines? Should I use a FP+?
I think FP+ for TSMM, Star Tours and... another ToT on late afternoon would be cool?

That sounds like a great plan! Star Tours gets a line midday. Early and late it doesn't usually have a long line, at least not when I have been there. Still, they make you choose three FP+ so you might as well get one for Star Tours. You might not need it. :goodvibes

yay! will get the FP+ just in case :~

this is my very confusing epcot planning... i feel kinda feverish right now so it might not make much sense but yeah

Future World

* Soarin’ (should I get one FP so we can ride a bit later once more too?)
* Living with the Land if using Fast Passes on space and test tracker
* Mission: SPACE (FP+?) + Advanced Training Lab
* Test Tracker (single rider) (FP+?)
* Spaceship Earth + Project Tomorrow
* Living with the Land
* Innoventions E/W (what are the best things to do here, and how long does it take being generous with our time)
* Journey Into Imagination with Figment

I hope to be done with everything future world-related by 11, as I have the feeling we’ll spend a loooong time on the world showcase and want be there as soon as it opens

* See if sister wants to do the Agent P Adventure

World Showcase

* Meet Duffy (and make him hug and take pics with Shellie May)

Mexico Pavilion

* first Kidcot Fun Spot!
* Gran Fiesta Tour (man I hope we get VERY lucky and can find Louro José for a picture… probably only wishful thinking though haha)
* Churritos/Paletas (picolés?) just to say we actually got something in every “country” :~ it’s been a while since I had churros though…
* Picture with the #1 Duck :~

Norways Pavilion

* Maelstrom (if not much of a long queue)
* Stave Church Gallery
* Kringla Bakeri Og Kafe (school bread, troll horn, rice cream, oh boy… this will be a hard one!)

China Pavilion

* Reflections of China
* Meet Mulan!
* ???? idk, will check possible snacks and stores and in every other pavilion

Germany Pavilion

* heard about a magical caramel thing, we wanna try
* pickle ornaments on xmas trees
* teddy bear store, perhaps to pick up a friend for Shellie May :3

Italy Pavilion

* …. uhmmmmmmmmm… a gelato, even though we get that a lot at home? :/

The American Adventure

* uhhhh, I heard great things about The American Adventure but… we kinda don’t know anything about american history (at least not in a very understandable way), so I don’t know if it’s worth it
* S’mores Mousse Brownie (cupcake) @ Liberty Inn
* and try a funnel cake since I never tried one and don’t even know what that is (googling it rn)
* i’m also all for mickey-shaped things so try a mickey pretzel @ block and hans

Japan Pavilion

* I’m going to buy SO MANY THINGS god help me and keep me away from all the pokedolls oh god
* KAKIGORI!!!!!!! i’m so excited to try it ;____;

Morocco Pavilion

* meeting Aladdin + Jasmine
* ??? idk walk around

France Pavilion

* meet Belle if not awful line (probably, so just admire her on distance)
* Impressions de France
* Les Halles Boulangerie & Patisserie - Napoleon (mil folhas), perhaps some croissants to go if they are better than the ones you get at regular cs breakfast and creme brulee

United Kingdom Pavilion

* meet Alice, Pooh and friends
* fish n chips so I can say I had something non-sweet?

Canada Pavilion

* O Canada, because I really love Canada, even though the reviews aren’t the best
* wishfully hope for Kenai and Koda to show up… ):

Refreshment Port

* cronuts

????
where do the stands for the food and wine actually are? right on that area when you first step on the world showcase? or they are scattered around? we’ll skip the brazilian stand for obvious reasons (ok, maybe go check how accurate it is :~) but would like to try everything else…
will wait for information about this year’s festival to plan our epcot day better!

gotta remember to find all kidcot fun spots too and buy the passport before going into the world showcase (if not possible right after getting in)

Epcot Future World -- You can't do everything on your list by 11:00 if the park opens at 9:00. Here's what I would do:

Test Track at park opening
Innoventions East: Sum of All Thrills
Mission Space with FP+ 9:15-10:15
Spaceship Earth + Project Tomorrow with FP+ 10:15-11:15
Living With the Land
Soarin with FP+ 11:15-12:15
Figment
World Showcase starting with Mexico / Gran Fiesta Tour
Norway / Maelstrom
etc.

You should hit Mexico in the World Showcase around 12:00 noon or just a little later with this plan. Maelstrom should not have a long line when you get there as long as you aren't going on a "bad" day for Epcot, like a weekend or EMH day.

In Innoventions West we like to do the Great Piggy Bank Adventure. It takes about 20 minutes. You can do it while you're in the area if you want to, delaying the start of World Showcase until 12:30, or you can come back to it later if you get there before they close at 7:00. It depends on what is more important to you.

Hmmmm, aw, oh well, it was pretty unreasonable of me, but everything just looked so cool
it's an EMH day, but for opening at 8am, and on a Tuesday, so I think we should be p ok? I hope the festival isn't too crazy lol

so we shouldn't run to the world showcase as soon as it opens? considering we get an extra hour
and it closes at 9... do we have enough time to enjoy the festival, the pavilions, and then come back to future world and see if we can do anything else? ideally, by evening, when people really start coming for the festival (at least that's what i heard), i would be out of there, around 7(?) so would i be able to come back and do more fun stuff on future world?

Hi again what you said about Dug and Russell no they aren't where you would think they should be. Here is an example of what you will find on kenny's website that I told you about.

He keeps it very well updated in case something should change. Once again a pleasure to help someone that actually has time to plan and is not all upset because they are leaving in a week and have done nothing.

Just remember you will not do everything, it's impossible. You want to enjoy what you do. You made me smile when talking about Duffy and Shelley Mae
I have seen him react when he sees her. :love: So adorable. I wish we had her here with him, maybe someday. He is a fun meet so is Pluto and Goofy.

Most likely you will not need a fastpass for the last safari rides of the day. Usually it is a walk on, even when we have gone in October. Of course that could be different on your day. Check the times guide when you get there as it will tell you when it closes as it is before sunset.

Plan for a lot of time for the Wilderness Explorer's guide as it takes you on all the trails and Conservation Station & you may have to wait for the guides if they are with other guests.

It seems like first thing in the AM nobody goes to Dinoland they all head to Everest or Safari, so you most likely don't need FPs there, but if you don't know what else to book them for then keep it for Dinosaur.

Oh, yes, I saw that! I noted it on my AK day! It's a very nice website, already bookmarked it on my phone :3 Thank you! I'm enjoying very much all the planning, if I start to get nervous I just take a deep breath. It will be alright if we miss a few things, we don't plan to run around, but having a plan with reasonable times is good and reassuring~

I'll take pictures! It must be super duper adorable <3 I really wish they bring her someday, she's so cute and they are adorable together! (and they I wouldn't have to spend fortunes to have Shellie May-related items on ebay ;_; )

Thank you very much! :3

I feel safer FPing (is that a thing? haha) the safari because I have an ADR to Sanaa at 8:45 and ~what if~ it has a big line or something ): I decided to not FP+ dinosaur and FP+ the Lion King show instead! I don't really know on what we would use the 3rd FP+ if not to the Safari, so I think that for now I'm just keeping it. P:

Did you do the Wilderness Explorers's guide? I'm curious, as I haven't found any detailed info about it (how many tasks, what they are, if they take a long time)
I wanted to walk on all trails and go to the conservation station anyway, so that's alright! I just hope I have enough time for it and don't have to go running around haha

Wilderness Explorers 30 tasks I haven't done it here's info: sounds VERY time consuming. I would probably do one or two on my own and then hold up the book for the Dug & Russell pictures and fake it LOL

https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/attractions/animal-kingdom/wilderness-explorers/

Ah eBay be still my heart :lmao: we are BIG Pluto fanatics eBay is my go to place since the 1990's

Characters & FP + you may want to use one for meeting Mickey & Minnie That line can get CRAZY !

Tip for Dug and Russell, plan to get there way before the scheduled time, another popular meet don't think that's a FP option.

You should try to get to World Showcase as close to 11:00 as possible, if you're going on an EMH day. It's going to get crowded with EMH and Food and Wine Festival. We tend to avoid EMH parks unless we are hopping to a different park after lunch because the afternoons are too crowded for us. I don't think the extra hour in the morning is worth it.

But, if I was going to morning EMH with your to-do list, I'd do something like this:

Test Track at park opening
Mission Space
Spaceship Earth + Project Tomorrow (if it is still before 9:00)
Innoventions East: Sum of All Thrills (opens at 9:00)
Living With the Land
Soarin with FP+

yes, it does, but seems to fill our extra time in-between big rides nicely! instead of just stopping and looking around, we can do that AND do the tasks at the same time! I won't sweat it if I don't complete it though, I'll eventually come back (in... 10 years or so... orz)

ebay will be the end of me ): *big pokemon collector -hiatus though-*

hmmm, yeah, I might do that if I feel secure enough to not use FP+ on the safari. Still, kinda scared, we are going on a Sunday (12th), and you guys have a holiday on the 13th, right?

Will do!

Thanks for everything, you guys are great! Even though the boards are kinda iffy about the whole FP+ and Frozen stuff and October not being a slow time of the year etc etc, I'm still trying to keep positive and excited about it! ୧(﹒︠ᴗ﹒︡)୨
(I still get worried and a bit sad when I see these threads *sensitive crybaby*)

edit: I found a list with all the tasks!

yeah, sadly I planned all of our days based on EMH and all that, now it's a bit too late for reorganizing all of our days ;_; didn't know they were actually bad days to go.
keep the FPs as you said on the post before but go back an hour?

i'm hoping that it slows down a bit during late afternoon, it is Tuesday guys, you're not supposed to be drinking at a theme park on a tuesday ):

and thank you once again, you were super helpful, I really appreciate it ´͈ ᵕ `͈

Just a note on the Wilderness Explorer's Club...it's my understanding you can't meet Dug and Russell and get your books until 10am. I would think you would need the books to do the activities. If someone knows differently, please let me know. This timing is actually causing some hiccups in my planning.

...... Oh.
Well, that's a problem. I was hoping to get the book as soon as we arrived. Do all the booths only start @ 10? Hmmmmm :/ that sucks.

You won't need those FP+ from my previous post. I would do the second list I posted, with only FP+ for Soarin. You can choose what you want for the other two, maybe something for later? Another ride on Mission Space in the afternoon maybe? Sum of All Thrills doesn't open until 9:00 so you will probably need to move Spaceship Earth up before that, which will mean a little more walking back and forth (but they aren't far apart). The advantage of EMH is that you will be able to get to Sum of All Thrills very close to 9:00 and will have no line there. It doesn't have FP+ and gets a line even on slow days. It also means you will get to World Showcase very close to 11:00, so that's good. You might end up staying a step ahead of the crowds all day! :goodvibes

I know...I wanted to as well. I mentioned this b/c it says on the MDE app that Wilderness Explorer hours are 10-7:30 (that is for today, but I have checked several times and have only seen 10am as the starting time). My coworker just went a couple weeks ago and she brought me back a couple if books. I wanted them so I could try and plan our day. There are 31 stations throughout the park.

Aaaah you are so lucky! I don't know how you were planning, but we are starting at DinoLand... Though, we do have to get back in there after 11AM to the Nemo musical, and have lunch @ Discovery Island... So I think we can do it somehow!

I wish I knew where the stations were just so I could plan a bit better, we'll have figure out the order in which we'll do the book integrating it with everything else (and hopefully complete it) only when we get it ):

Hmm, that sounds nice! Two extra FPs for rides after-WS? It would be a fun way to end our day, and hopefully w/o crowds! We are okay with walking around (even tough I try to make our days without too much backtracking, but walking around future world seems pretty reasonable and not time-consuming)

and I really hope so!

I would be happy to take pics and send them via email as well. Just PM me your info if you'd like them.

Actually, I remember now...I started a thread about WE club and someone posted a link that someone else had pictures of the book. I am on my phone and I don't know how to copy links. =(
