AK and DS on same day need advice.

We are planning to try and do AK and DS on the same day.
AK opens at 9:00 and we were planning to be there early do about three things that we liked from a previous trip. Then we hope to beat it over to DS where there is a lot more that we want to do. DS opens at 8:00 that day.
We also have made a reservation for dinner 5:00 previous to Fantasmic which we have never seen. Does this sound possible or stupid. We don't mind a little stress but it is a vacation. Would appreciate any suggestions from the board. You folks have been very helpful so far.

We do stuff like that all the time. If you know what you want to do, it should be no problem.

I agree - If you know what you want to do & have no interest in just wandering around & soaking in the unplanned stuff, you will have plenty of time to go from AK to MGM & do your highlights. We hop like that all the time.
