My husband and I will be visiting the AK for the first time this September. We will be having either a late lunch or an early dinner and I wanted to find out some recommendations (along with brief descriptions) for unique sit-down dining that has an interesting atmosphere. It can be either at AK or AKL.

Thanks for your advice!

I would highly recommend the dinner buffet at Boma at AKL. It has TONS of unique and really yummy food (African soups, vegetables, meat). I think you'll find that most people who try it really end up liking it. AKL also has Jiko, which is a non-buffet and a bit more upscale. I've never eaten there but I've heard good things about it.

There really isn't anything *nice* at AK-- it's only counter service (though the food there is pretty good for fast food). The only sit down meal you'll find is Rainforest Cafe, and that isn't really special since you can find it at Downtown Disney as well.

:D

Ill be visiting AKL for the first time next month - Ill let you know - but I hear BOMA is very good - I am going to try it! I also read on a post about a certain frozen drink that is also very good! Ill be more informed next month!

Ate dinner at Boma's a couple of weeks ago. It was great! Alot of choices. I hear breakfast is wonderful there too but did not get a chance to try it.

Love the pic of your lab. I have a chocolate too! He is my 90 lb lap dog.
