Aisle Runner

When does the aisle runner go down? Before the bridesmaids or just before the bride? Our groomsmen will also be acting as ushers, so I wasn't sure how to do it if just for me? Thanks!

In all the weddings I have been in it has gone after bridemaids, before flower girls. Hope that helps!
