Aisle runner question, WP?

If I buy my own aisle runner, will Disney put it down? Do I just have to lay my own petals if we get them?

I asked my WC about this and she said that they will not set it up, you need to designate someone to do it. Although I have heard of the Wedding Planner doing it sometimes...so I guess with anything at Disney, it depends.

Ok that stinks...because doesn't it need to be pinned down? I may just suck it up and pay the $260

I think you do need to pin it, I even asked her if I could have it set up for a fee, because I've heard of that before too, and the answer was still no.

It couldn't hurt to ask your planner too though, I know some definitely have set it up for their brides, so you might get lucky.

That is nuts, I thought it was the one that had a carriage and the couple's names. If it was personalized, at least it could kinda be a keepsake. Hopefully some girls that made their own aisle runner will come along, how hard could it be to pin it? Then again, sometimes it's worth paying the money just so you don't have to worry about it, but that seems like a lot of a white cloth.

Ya...it just seems a pain to have someone pin it. I wonder if there is a cheaper option. Once I get back, I'm going to schedule a meeting to talk about some changes to our Floral beo and see if there a less expensive runner.

I want to get my own as well I never thought of having to pin it down. Hopefully someone will give their experience who has done it.
