Airtran web fares

Does anyone have experience with Airtran's webfares?

It says you have to pick your seat at check-in. Is it realistic to think that three of us, who didn't book together, can have seats together? Do we run the risk of not being assigned a seat if we don't check-in until we get to the airport?

Any experiences, good or bad, with airtran that you'd like to share?

If we choose our seats as close to the 24 hour window as possible, we never have a problem. I would put one person in charge or booking all three seats as close to the 24 hour window. Good luck!

I have never had a problem getting seats together on Airtran...even when we have checked in at the airport with 6 people. IF you check in online 24 hours in advance, you should be perfectly fine.
