Well, I guess it is, and not industry-wide - the last time I flew (it's been a while!) the regs for the airline we used stated that you could carry on a piece of carry on luggage, a purse, and a personal item. Or something like that. From what I gather on the Airtran website, now it's only 2 items? Meaning, using my carry on luggage, I will have to consolidate my purse & my personal item?
I hope I make sense, and thanks!

We're being allowed less and less.
You know you have to take your shoes off to go thru security? That any item that doesn't hold it's shape outside of a container is considered liquid and must go in your 3-1-1 bag?
It has been a while - maybe in 2008 or 2009? It was when Spirit still flew direct to Orlando from Atlanta. Once I scored 9¢ airfare, another time $9 airfare. Spirit is a bare bones provider, but it was awesome!
No worries, using ME this time, as usual.
