airtran question

Airtran has yet again changed out flights ...
I can accept the changes, change flights or get a refund.

If I choose to get a refund does anyone know how that is done if the tickets were purchased with gift cards (ones we bought with our visa ... so as to get the airtran points.)
Would I have to accept the gift cards back or will they credit the card the gift cards were bought with?
Of course I just want my money back (we have changed flights, days and times sooooooooooo much I have had it and am willing to drive.)

I know I need to know my options before I call (they always want a decision before you can hang up ... another policy I really do not care for.)

I've never used them with airfare but did get a Visa card with $50 loaded on it as a rebate for upgrading a cell phone. I applied it to my next Disney cruise and my TA said to save the card just in case I need to cancel the cruise then each payment is returned separately to its original form.

Wait, I'm re reading and you say you bought tix with Airtran gift card? I would guess it would be returned to the gift card. I'd check the gift card return policy if you want to get the credit back to your cc. I guess they'd count that as 2 separate transactions, same as the way you bought them.

They would refund using the payment method that was used to make the reservation. I would think they would refund either as an account credit or to the gift cards. Doubtful you would get a credit card or cash refund.

My how much did they change your flights?
