AirTran out of Buffalo - Help !

We are flying out of Buffalo next Saturday at 6:15AM on Airtran. I remember seeing something when we purchased our on-line tickets a couple of months ago that we wouldn't be allowed to on-line check-in Anyone know why this would be? What time do you think we should arrive at the airport, especially if we can't check-in online?

As well, is there a curbside check-in for AirTran? And if we don't already have our boarding passes, does that mean that we can't use curbside and we must go inside? And on our departure home date, can we have them do an on-line check-in and seat assignment at the front desk at POP? Sorry if I sound totally stupid but we hardly ever fly.

You should be able to online check-in 24 hours before if you booked on the Air Tran website. I've used Air Tran several times and have done it online to get our seats (if you have a low fare, you can't get seats before 24 hours).

Don't know about curbside in Buffalo, they do not have it at PIT but they do have it in Orlando.

Here is the TSA wait for Saturday:

Buffalo Niagara International Airport (BUF)
Checkpoint opens at 5:00 AM
5-6 am - 11 min. ave 17 min. max
6-7 am - 20 min. ave 39 min. max

I would plan on being in line at security with boarding passes in hand at 5:00. Hope you can check in online the night before.

If you are checked in on line, and I believe you can as I have before, you can get to the Airport in BUF 60-75 minutes before flight and probably be at the gate with 45 minutes to spare! The counter in BUF for Air Tran is the last one and from the curb is about 40 steps inside. I have never had more than three people in front of me. The BUF airport is new and compact. If you get there at 5am you will have alot of time. It is not busy that early at that airport.
