We never did internet tickets before and this is how it went.


I just printed our boarding passes on Airtran website and picked our seats (24 hrs ) out.

No problems whatsoever.

We only have carry-ons so we go right to security and that's it.

Total time with printing 10 minutes APPROX

Unlike some other airlines where web checkin is only for customers with no checked baggage, you can do this on Airtran even with checked baggage. Of course you still have check your baggage in the usual way, but at least you can get a seating assignment ahead of time.

i just did this for the 1st time in august and was a little nervous about it but everything went well. we went to animal kingdom lodge and there were internet terminals so i was able to check in ahead of time on the way home and we had no problems with checked luggage both ways! i wish that they would let you do the seat picking by phone though. it cost me quite a bit to log on at the hotel and of course i couldn't print boarding passes. i did get confirmation numbers though.

all was well except our plane broke and we had to get on another one. we were out on the runway too ready to take off!!
