Airtran Flight Change?

I just got off the phone with airtran and I am so MAD. This is the second time they cancelled my nonstop flight from BOS. They have me on a flight that leaves Logan at 9 am and arrives in oRLANDO AT 5 30. The person I spoke to said they are prob cancelling all non stop flights for Nov and Dec.

We're scheduled to leave for WDW on Dec. 1 and fly back on Dec. 5. The flight to Orlando has been changed twice. Initially leaving Dec. 1 at 8:00 am, then switched to 7:55. The return flight was cancelled completely (supposed to leave around noon). So we got on another flight leaving at 3:36 - that one has now been moved to 3:40, so no bid deal. I checked the site and our Dec. 1 flight is now leaving at 7 am. It's still non-stop at least.
We're traveling with our three kids, so a layover isn't a great option. We planned to stay overnight in Baltimore so we'd have the non-stop flight. If we have to have a layover, we'll cancel the airtran flights and get something that leaves from the airport 20 minutes from our house.
On hold with air tran right now to see if I have any other information I can post. They have the worst hold music ever...

I was told it looks like they are cancelling all non stop flights Nov and Dec. Not sure if that is just Bos. They changed my flights twice already. Will never book with airtran again

Thanks to all the posters on this wonderful thread I just called Airtran because I didn't see my return flight listed on their website. The agent told me my return flight didn't even exist! Then she said somethings wrong. She found it but my arrival time in ATL was 6:30 and my departing time for Newark was 5:30! She had a similar flight time and asked if I wanted that. I told her I have to check with my travelling companion and call back; she said she put a note on my ressie that I would call back to confirm. Now I'm searching airline websites to see if I can get a similar (I have a really great airfare!) price on another airline. I'm just really leary of Airtran right now!

Our flights were changed, three times. We had non stop flights both ways but not anymore. Our whole first day is also now a travel day instead of arriving at 11 a.m. We're so bummed but we got good prices so we kind of feel stuck right now.

Our flights were originally booked for 7:30p, then they were changed to 6:03p, then 5:30p and finally today 5:05p. My hubby and I finally just said "that's it!" We called and asked for a refund. They tried to offer a credit but we declined and asked for our money back. We booked jetblue, saved $200 and got non-stops. Granted there's no guarantee that our flights will stay that way but the $200 savings takes the sting out of it

Now I'm hoping MINE change again because they added a nonstop from MCO to Milw that gets here about the same time but leaves 1 and 1/2 hours later in the morning! I'd love to switch to the non-stop without having to pay a change fee.

I am sick to my stomach right now

priced everything out last week for an Oct trip- got a great rate on Airtran with non stop flights that give us basically two full days in Disney including the travel

went to book them on Sat and those flights no longer exist. on top of it- the new flight times that now include 1 stop in each direction have raised the price by over $200 bucks!!

We would lose the last day as a day to visit the parks (so why am I staying another night?) and pay more.

No other airline shows anything good for times or price

We are in your boat too...good news is we called again today and the person got us on a booked flight that gets in at 11am instead of 3pm! I was thrilled! I have no idea how she did it as only 1st class was left- but I don't care! We have seats on it now

They changed mine for the 3rd time in Five weeks. They changed my non stop from the morning to the afternoon. This is insane. They said I could change it to whatever I wanted without any charge. I am afraid to change because they keep changing. So I will wait it out for about a month. My trip is on December 6. Do you guys think that is a good plan.

Yes, wait it out. Mine has been changed 3 or 4 times now and we are leaving in 16 days. It was changed just this week again. I called and made modifications- I hope it stays!

I would wait til 2 weeks out and then modify...maybe even 10 days.

Waiting that close is VERY risky. If the flight you want is full you can't change to it!

Wow they better not be cancelling all nonstop flights in dec from bos to mco or I'll be quite angry. They only reason I booked with them is because they had non stop flights. They changed my flights for begining of dec, put us on later nonstop going down then on a 1stop coming home. I called and complained about how I only booked the ones I booked because they were nonstop and got put on the first nonstop going down (which is now the only nonstop going down) and a nonstop coming home (which is also now the only nonstop coming home). It seems that the flight is almost completely booked so they will have a plan full of angry people if they try make it a stop over flight.

Our flight there changed 4 times, for our Dec trip. I don't mind too much actually. We are now on a flight with a stop instead of nonstop, but we are leaving earlier and will get there about the same time we would have with the nonstop. I decided I'd rather take the flight with the stop since the nonstops seem to be more at risk for being cancelled.
I also decided not to try to go to a park the first day, so if there are delays or changes I won't stress as much. I want to get there as soon as possible to relax at the pool and have dinner at Chef Mickeys though
Our flight home changed once, a nonstop still but leaves 3 hours earlier than it was going to. I'm not too stressed about the return flight. Eventually we'll get home
