Has anyone found a way to contact AIRTRAN for seat assignment and boarding passes from Disney for return home? I saw the ques on boards before ;but no answer.

Not unless you have a way to get to their web site. Even then, you have to have the right kind of ticket. If you have one of the web sale fares, like I always get, they won't let you do the boarding passes and seat assignments online. You have to wait until you get to the airport. Sorry I couldn't give you a better answer. I fly AirTran all the time out of Atlanta and that's the way it's always been.

Now I have one of there internet specials and we leave Fri am Icalled and had them "talk me through" They told me I can print my boarding and seat assignment form home 24 hours in advance they recomend it. They said that on my return I can call the 800 number form my hotel and request the exact seat again if still available and if not they would assist me in chosing I would thenhave to pick up at the airport. They were very helpfull But when I get back I will be sure to post how the trip went

I bought my tickets online and on the confirmation is says that I can choose my seats 24 hours before my flight. I guess I will be calling tomorrow to confirm this.

Sorry for my late response to this. We flew Airtran just a month ago.

I made my seat assignments online at home for my outbound flight.

For your return, just keep your flight number and your confirmation number with you at all times during the 24 hours before your return flight. Now all you have to do is keep looking around and you'll find one of those new fangled internet kiosks that you can use for like 5 minutes for a dollar. You see commercials for these all the time. We stayed at the All Star Movies and they had a pay per minute internet station right by the payphones in the lobby. It worked perfect for me and I got my return seat assignments without any problem.

Good luck,
Beth

We are booked with Airtran also. I saw a post on the Dis about internet stations at the convention resorts. We are staying at CS which is supposed to have an internet station available for 15 minutes @ $10. I still am unsure if I will be able to print the boarding passes for the return flight.

You don't have to be able to print the boarding passes and such. I went ahead and made my seat assignments at one of the terminals and just passed over the printing part. When I arrived at the airport to check in, I just let them know I needed my boarding passes and they printed them right there with the seats I had already chosen printed on them. It was really easy.
