I was just looking at the Orlando Airport website and see that AirTran ticket counters and baggage claim is still listed under Terminal B, not with Southwest in Terminal A. Anyone know if this is still the case? We usually fly Southwest but are using AirTran this time. Thanks!

The official AirTran website shows:

Available Airport Services
Priority Check-In
Skycap
Airport Provided WiFi

Terminal
B

Gates
101 - 110

I would recommend checking again shortly before your travel dates: http://www.airtran.com/cities/orlandofl.aspx

Thank you! We're going this month so I don't think it will be changing before then. Seems kinda odd since Southwest/AirTran have adjacent gates in MCO, and Southwest/AirTran have been combining ticket counters in other cities. Guess that'll be in the next round of changes for them!

The nice thing with AirTran location at MCO is that it is on the same side as the Magic Express, so you don't have to cross from the A side to get to it, you just go downstairs :)

SWA system wide has moved all of the AirTran ground employees over to SWA. The problem in moving ticket counters in MCO is that there is not enough space at either counter for a combined operation. So until MCO can get another airline to swap space SWA will have to run a split operation, which is an inefficient use of employees.
