AirTran $25 Voucher

Any other tips I should know before booking with AirTran? I had orginally planned on flying out of Cedar Rapids, IA to Sanford but that would involve getting a rental car again.... Minneapolis is an hour further to drive BUT it would allow me to fly into MCO and take ME which would save $150 in rental car fees.

I had thought it would be about $40 more per ticket but now it is $10 less!!

Plan on booking tomorrow after SO confirms the dates he can have off... thanks sooooo much!!

Where do you get to enter the coupon discounts? I was trying to book 5 one way tickets using 5 codes. I got to the screen where you have enter the names of all five passengers. I couldn't find where to put the coupon discounts in. If someone could please help, I'd be so grateful!!! THANKS!

Keep going. It's after you pick seats if you pick them. It's on the screen where you enter your CC info. You'll see an "Enter coupon code here."

We just booked our trip for 236.00.....round trip for four!

Thanks for responding so quickly! I wasn't sure if I could book all five one ways together. I was trying it out when I couldn't find where to enter the coupon discounts. So I CAN use five different codes to purchase five one ways all together???

I had booked through orbitz tonight. I was able to cancel without penalty since it had only been an hour!

I was able to select my seats through kayak for no charge. Roundtrip for 4 of us was 364

I only need to book 4 one-way tickets for returning. Is there any advantage booking 4 separate transactions (like with Southwest, it's easier to make changes) instead of one transaction for all 4? I've never booked Airtran before, I can apply 4 $25 vouchers in one transaction, right? It turned out the saving is only $10 because they charge $15 per checked bag whereas it's free with Southwest.

No you can actually book in one reservation but you use 4 coupon codes...one for each passenger.

There is a 15 dollar charge for each checked bag but I think we can make it only checking one or two...so the savings for us is still wonderful!

That's what we do...get away with only checking one bag. I roll clothes and pack bigger carry ons. Then we only bring one big suitcase to check for the three of us. Not sure how well it will work in December though! I've always been packing shorts and t shirts before, not jeans and long sleeves!!

Yes, you can. Once you submit one code, then go back and erase the code and enter a new one and hit submit again. You'll see to the right that it will keep taking off $25.

And thanks to the OP! I was up so late last night deciding whether to go in September or December due to this deal The Disboards are such enablers!

I was on the boards from 10 when I saw this deal until 1:15. I finally get to bed and hubby is snoring!!! Finally fall asleep but dreamt of booking flights ALL NIGHT!!! I hate when I am so focused on something that I can't sleep right!

Lol! I'm the same way. I was up late because airlines were matching the Southwest sale and it ended last night. DH and I decided we should wait until December, because we just went in May. Only on the Dis it is normal to go to Disney multiple times a year

Hi there... I also looked into flying out of Cedar Rapids... We're flying out of Quad Cities... Just in general, a lot cheaper..I got airfare for $129 RT. Not sure if that's great or not, but it was cheaper than all the other research I'd done.

Have you heard the tip to book a flight from 12:00 am to 2:00 am on WED early, early morning for the best deals? I stayed up for it a couple of weeks ago. At first I didn't see what the heck my dad was talking about, but after a couple of refreshes and researches, I found the fare significanlty cheaper.
