AirTran $25 Voucher

I am scrambling to do this too and they are coming up blank this morning. Has anybody done this in the last few hours and had it work? I have run out of email accounts to do this with. I need 10 and I have 7 so far...at least it is better than nothing, but I am still hoping for 10. Please post success if you can!

Also, I did 2 last night that just never went through period.

I've requested three so far, none of them have shown up yet.
I'm hoping it is just that it will take a few minutes for them to arrive ;) I am checking spam folders too.

I finally got one of mine yesterday but the others never arrived.
Besides, he doesn't think we're going to use them (whether to WDW or just to Orlando for a weekend I didn't care!) so I don't guess I'll worry about them not coming through.

Check your itinerary weekly, AirTran is know to change flight times.

You have to pay for checked luggage.
They just got internet.
If there are less than 3 of you , don't pre-pay for your seats.
Check in at the 24 hour pre-boarding time, and then choose your seats. Usually lots of seating available.
Row 10 starts after Business class.

I flown with them a few times. People really tend to bring a lot of carry-ons, because of the $15 first bag check. Don't go over your weight or size of bags. They check that pretty good too.
 
I just requested mine and already received the emails. They arrived instantly in my inbox.
 
I got them from 2 e-mail accounts that I just made. Got them instantly. Idk. Maybe they didn't like my other 2. :)

I needed to do that many to get 10 because 2-3 never arrived and 2-3 came blank. I think once you've used that email account and it didn't come, you have to try another one. I heard an earlier poster mention that it took 4 hours for one to come, but for the 10 that I did receive, they all came instantly. Good luck.
 
AirTran just replaced my blank ones!! They said "due to high demand, we had a temporary issue generating voucher codes, so you were accidentally sent an e-mail without a voucher code......"


I wonder where the "high demand" came from?!!! :rolleyes1

I agree - they seemed to come sporadically. Most arrived right away but some never arrived at all. My family is going on a reunion cruise in November so we needed lots of codes!!
 
Remember everyone-if go to airtran by way of the Kayak website you don't pay the seat fees anyways!
 
Ok, just checked my itinerary and airtran changed the time of my return flight. Looks like they actually added a flight and I would prefer to fly the earlier one. I booked through kayak, can I cancel and rebook without fees? I thought I read somewhere that if they change the time, you can cancel without penalty?

Yes call and tell them you aren't happy with the new times and would like to cancel...but check the price first and make sure it isn't more!
 
When I called the rep said I could bring my voucher and use it to pay for the luggage fee...

I hve never flown airtran before, and planned on doing what you said..bringing voucher to pay for my luggage since I already booked..but when you check in online, does anyone know if there is an option to prepay for your luggage? Maybe i can use the code then.
 
You can indeed pay your luggage fees on-line when you check-in. I am also wondering though if you can use the coupons then...
 
That would be sweet if you could!! I was just going to bring the vouchers to the counter to try using towards my bags..but it would be nice to know ahead of time for packing purposes, whether it will work or not. At least if I can do it online, I will know I am all good.

So when you check in, something comes up where you can pay for your bags online as I didn't see that when I actually booked my ticket or now for that matter so wasn't sure if it was only an option that appeard during check in.
 
Yep, when you check-in it asks something like how many bags each person will be taking and then lets you pay for the bags. Hoping someone is flying soon and can let us know.
