Airport/Transfers for Vero Beach or HHI?

What airport do you fly into for Vero Beach? How do you get from the airport to the resort? Does Disney provide anything?

What airport do you fly into for Hilton Head Island? How do you get from there to the resort?

I only know about HHI. The closest airport is right on the island, about 10 minutes from the resort. The next closest is Savannah, about 45 minutes away. That tends to be kind of expensive (for us, anyways) so lots of people also use CHarleston or Jacksonville. As far as how to get to the resort, everyone I know rents a car. I don't know of anyone who's gone to the resort without a car-is there anyone?

So for HHI, you'd go to their own airport? Hilton Head Island Airport??

We fly into Savannah and rent a car there. I would think the only other way you could get to the resort would be by taxi. There is an airport right on HHI but if I'm not mistaken it has very limited flights in and out.

HH airport is very limited in airlines and expensive. We fly into Savannah and rent a car. The car is very handy for getting around to restaurants, etc. also.

For Vero you also fly into Orlando and rent a car. I think that I once read of some type of shuttle service from MCO to Vero. Hopefully someone else will post if that is still true.

For VB, most folks fly into Orlando and rent a car. VB is a beautiful resort, but, without a car, you loose a lot of options. West Palm Beach is another airport option, but most flights getting there are connections. Ft Lauderdale, which is 130 miles away, is another option. I once flew into Tampa due to a cheap airfare I found.

I haven't been to HH, but I think that's a location where you would want a car as well.
