Airport Shuttle/Star Island

We are travelling to Disney World at the beginning of May. What is the best way to get from the Airport to Star Island Resort. Has anyone stayed there before? To travel to Epcot/Magic Kingdom should we take taxis or are there shuttles. Any additional tips would be appreciated!!

Our family of 4 stayed there last Spring Break courtesy of my DBIL (his Timeshare). We loved this resort. Lots to do, especially at the pool. Daily activities and such. My DH loved the driving range. I liked the Yoga classes. My kids loved the activities at the pool each day. We rented a car and as far as I know there aren't any shuttles to WDW from here. I would think a taxi would get kind of expensive depending on how many days you are planning in the parks.

It was a different vacation for us because we usually stay onsite, but we really enjoyed this place. I honestly could have probably stayed at the resort most of the time. Very relaxing. We were in a spacious 3 bedroom condo. Master bedroom has the garden whirlpool tub and huge shower and a very comfortable king bed. 2nd bedroom also a king bed. 3rd bedroom was 2 fulls. Including Master bath, 2 full baths. Nice size kitchen and very large dining table that seated at least 10. Can't wait til he invites us again. Besides, that way can't beat the price (free).
