I am trying to find a hotel with parking for a 21 night holiday (so in effect, I need 22 nights, possibly 23 depending on the flight arrival time).

At the moment, we could fly from either Manchester or Glasgow airport - not sure which yet. Depends on flight prices from both.

Does anyone know of a reliable chain of airport hotels that allow parking for this long (I realise we might have to pay for parking 15 days+)? I would prefer a chain like Premier Inn / Holiday Inn Express or something. Looking on their sites though, they don't seem to do extended parking (or perhaps I would have to contact direct to enquire).

TIA

Weve done this a few times, we have called in advance but they say that's something we can do at check in. :thumbsup2

Have you looked at booking your hotel and parking separately? We have actually found better deals doing this and haven't struggled to find parking for a longer holiday length.

In the past when we have needed 9 nights, we've called the hotel direct and asked the standard 7 days to be upped to 9, which they have allowed for no additional cost (Hilton & Radisson Blu). Could be an option if they offer 21 nights.

Otherwise there are companies offering parking close to some airports which are cheaper and allow for longer stays - I haven't used them personally but a friend of mine rates them more highly than official airport parking.

Thanks for the replies. It's a bit of a faff unpacking car one night and then repacking the next a.m. to take to another car park the next day before going to the airport, but we may have to do that.

flortle - like you say, it may be cheaper. I have found a few hotels on flypark but I have never heard of half of them and I'm concerned about booking into somewhere I don't know (even if it's a chain iyswim).

I know car parking for 3 weeks isn't going to be cheap (but nothing is, is it!)

Why isn't anything straightforward :rolleyes2

We are in the same situation, we need 23 nights at Manchester (stay the night before flight).

we had 22 nights parking at manchester and it was £89 which i thought was very reasonable

Bex - presume this was just parking. Did you stay overnight in a hotel too? When did you go - I'm thinking August isn't going to be the cheapest month to be parking at a UK airport (or even nearby!).

We used holiday extras and paid £100 with £15 cashback from Quidco for 1night at the 4 star Park Inn Hotel by Heathrow and 17 nights parking and that was in August.

I just had a look for 21 nights in August 2014 at Manchester and they quote £110 for the parking, 1 night in the hotel and transfers or there are others on site (walking distance for £156 or £193 with dinner)

Thanks Zippy - I hadn't found that site. It looks great. I had managed to get a quote for the Marriott already but it was saying 15 nts parking (although this wasn't apparent until you went into the T&Cs), I couldn't see that here though seems car parking for the whole duration, so it looks a good deal. Will keep an eye out for 2015 :thumbsup2
