They have so many YouTube videos , you can see every inch of the dvc rooms online. Also I think most people have stayed at various levels of hotels and understand amenities without experiencing them. This is a really eye-opening thread. I thought I would have been in a huge minority, and nothing could be further from the truth apparently. I would have bet an almost stupid amount of money that I would have been virtually the only one to have never stayed in a DVC resort, much less a deluxe resort when this thread began. And just guessing by what tends to be the general population of this board and especially the DVC areas, I would also bet that option zero rises greatly on the DVC ownership as a whole. Color me surprised. I would have never guessed it.

I am not surprised, the cash rate left reality in the rearview years ago. There was/is a 0% chance of me paying cash rack rates. Even at this summers huge discounts i jumped on the chance to convert my $400 a night "discounted" cash stay at BC to points when I added on.This is a really eye-opening thread. Very interesting considering it is the most often used justification for buying into the system. People use rack rates at deluxe resorts to justify the"value" of DVC..How many stays/not nights before you bought?
