I am arriving at Orlando airport at 3:43 pm due to flight change on Silver Air in Terminal B. I have a flight on Southwest leaving at 4:50 from Terminal A. Will I have to go thro security again to get from B to A? Can I make this flight?
At Orlando International Airport, there are two TSA security checkpoints. But it's not a simple matter of Terminal A and Terminal B.
One TSA checkpoint serves Airside 1 (Terminal A gates 1-29) and Airside 3 (Terminal B gets 30-59). You can connect between these gates without exiting and re-clearing TSA security.
The other TSA checkpoint serves Airside 2 (Terminal A gates 100-129) and Airside 4 (Terminal B gets 60-99). You can connect between these gates without exiting and re-clearing TSA security.
I think Silver Airways uses Airside 3.
Southwest Airlines uses Airside 2.
I'm pretty sure you'll have to take the train from Airside 3 to the main terminal building, exit the secure zone, walk the length of the terminal building, re-clear TSA security, and take the train to Airside 2.
If your first flight is on time, 67 minutes should be enough time if you don't dawdle and there's not a huge line at TSA security for Airsides 2 and 4. Boarding begins 30 minutes before departure.
It will be a big problem if your first flight is delayed. If there's even a modest delay, you might not get to the gate in time for your second flight. Southwest can cancel your ticket without giving you a refund if you're not at the gate 10 minutes before the departure time. Modest days are very common.

Note: Passengers with a
real connection on a single ticket (even if it involves two or more airlines), are "protected" to their destination, even if one segment arrives too late for the passenger to make it to the next segment). But if you have separate tickets, the second airline considers you a "no-show" if you fail to present yourself at the departure gate, typically 10-15 minuets before departure.
