Has anyone ever flown on one of these? I think it's Delta that has them, and I'm wondering what airports they fly these particular planes from, or is just luck?

I fly Delta pretty frequently and have never seen one with a Disney logo on it. Nor have I ever seen a Disney logo on a plane from any other airline. Where did you see this info?

I've seen a green plane with "Walt Disney World" in the Disney script on the back of it. It was on some Disney travel website. I thought it was a Delta plane, and since they are the official airline of WDW that would make sense (to me). While searching, I did also find the Alaska Air one, but I think they have that one because they do a "Kids Fly Free to Disneyland" deal in the spring/early summer. I just thought it would be really cool to be on one of these planes!

Delta has not been the official airline of WDW for years. I don't think there is an official airline anymore. I've flown Delta alot and have never seen one with a WDW logo.

After seeing that, I had to do a search, and remebered this site.
What I could find was that apparently there are several different airlines that either once or still have some type of Disney Paint Job. JAS (Japan Air Service) had at least 1 JAL had at least 6 747 only found pics of a few of them, numbers JA8912 , JA8905 JA8083 JA8084 JA8908 JA8912 JA8905 JA8904 and JA839 that had some type of Disney paint job from the Disney Sea to Mickey on her sides, all of which have been painted over,Fed Ex, has at least one, that has a Disney sticker on her side, N683FE theres 3 from Alaska Airlines, numbered N784AS and N791AS that has different Disney charachters, on her exterior, and also, a third, numbered 706AS dedicated to Make a Wish, that has Geinnie from Aladdin on her exterior.

Air Europa has at least 2 EC IYI EC IXE

Sabena had at least one OO SLG

Pacific South Airlnes N555PS Had Donald painted on her side.

The earliest pic I could find dates back to December 1985, so apparently they have been around for a while.

I even found a terminal outside the US secked out in Disney. I am sure theres others,(MCO for example) this was the only one I saw a pic of.

To answer the other question as to where you can see them, its next to impossible to figure out where they will be next.Usually a plane goes from one airport to the next, then bumps to a different route, until she come up for scheduled maintanance. That maintainance point is usually the last stop for the plane for several days, until her maintainance period is over, then it starts again with a different airport. The plane will generally stay in a certain area of the world, say the west coast of the US,until shes retired, or replaces another plane or is replaced by a differnt plane in an area.

I saw someting not long ago,(around Xmas time on tv) that Delta is the "Preferred Airline" of Disney, but I doubt there is any one that is the official.
I think the days of an official airline are gone, since most airlines if not all have some type of sharing agreement.

I think back in the early to mid 1980s, the long-gone Eastern Arlines was the "official" airline of WDW. There was even a ride in Tomorrowland sponsored by Eastern.

Yep If I remember it was If You Had Wings, then Delta took over and it became Dreamflight, and they were the last to sponsor the ride.I think its Buzz Lightyear now.

Ear Force 1 can be seen on the backlot tour at MGM :wizard:

Yep.Saw it about 2 weeks ago. Wish it was in a better spot to get a good pic of it other than from a moving vehicle or above it.I also hope they keep up with her so she doesnt rot. Shes a piece of history.
