I am sad not to see Children's Place as a place to ust my BMO card towards that coupon. I shop for groceries at Metro and Sobeys so it should be ok, add in a Shell purchase, and maybe Global petfood though I have to go to a further one as the one near me doesn't sell the food my dog eats.

Can you use a gift card to shop at Children's Place? I also saw those in the Huge display of gift cards.

Uhhhhh, I just read a FB post saying that the Metro offer is only for new users. Now, I have had the Metro account for a while but I just installed the app, signed into it and linked my card. Does this make me a "new" user?

i guess I will message them and ask but if any of you have info on this I would appreciate it!

I've been poking away at the first page today.
Post 3 & 8 have PDF files of each region's complete set of offers for future reference.
Since it's a CONSTANT question I've also added the complete terms & conditions for both Shell offers in post #2 highlighting the fact that the miles can take up to 4 weeks after the end of the completed promo. Even though it doesn't state specifically that it doesn't print on the receipt we know it won't, try to trust that you've completed the process properly and if you want to, take a screenshot of the message saying you've opted in.

This is a really confusing offer (there's always a few that are vague and/or have conflicting info between the offer & the fine print)
On the actual offer it says
When you link your AIR MILES® Card on the My Metro app and use one or more offers for the first time by September 10, 2020.*

Which says to me, add my card # to the App for the first time and coupon is completed, doesn't matter if I already have an account

BUT in the fine print it says:
* Offer valid from Thursday, August 13 to Thursday, September 10, 2020 for AIR MILES Collectors who have not already linked their AIR MILES Card to their metro.ca account or the My Metro app for the first time. The criteria for a minimum of one My Metro app offer must be met to qualify for this offer. Criteria and offer periods may vary for each offer. Please see the terms and conditions of each unique offer for specific details. Offer subject to change without notice. Limit of one AIR MILES Bonus Offer per AIR MILES Collector Number. Bonus Miles will be posted to your AIR MILES Collector Account within 4 to 6 weeks of the offer end date.

I have been using the app forever so I know it doesn't count for me, and is rather annoying to be honest. Not sure but you should be new since you are new to the app... but I wouldn't trust it. Was your aimiles linked to the website? Then I don't think it would count crappy Metro offer... usually a great option but not this time!

Correct, they're not listed on the page of participating Partners (at least not in Ontario). They ARE a separate coupon themselves though so you could use your Mastercard to purchase a giftcard at Metro, Sobeys chain store or Shell and then use that to complete the coupon.

Well I just Opted In for Rona and will have to wait till the 27th of Aug to be done my Mega Miles 2020.
I'll probably do two one for my card and one for my son's card.
(So far the Metro App should work for his card plus a Shell in store,,and Rona).

Do wish LCBO had some half decent offers,,I mean Miller Lite????
