I almost forgot to go get gas before heading home today. I'm rather distracted at the moment....had some news. Anyway, managed to squeeze in 37L and went inside to purchase a couple of nice cold bottles of Fresca. Miles are not showing on my account just yet but this same thing happened last week, so I will check in a couple hours.

Life update....
Todays little distraction. The orthopedic surgeon that DD has been seeing since her injury referred her to another surgeon who is even more specialized. That news by itself had me wondering what wasn't being said. Well, second DR got her in yesterday (referral was only made 2 weeks ago...but I know the office manager, so maybe that's why ). New DR pulled up the scans and showed us everything. It's bad...multiple tears including the ACL. DD is having surgery to repair everything NEXT WEEK While we were in the waiting room they booked other people for September, so booking it for next week has given me a little worry too. She has a long road ahead, non weight bearing for 6 weeks and up to 12 months of rehab. This could still be a career ending injury. My heart shattered listening to it all and seeing DD's face. Now we have to figure out taking care of her over the coming weeks.

I actually did an in store shop at Shell today and my bonus 50 miles and all the associated miles with that have posted but my earn 1 mile for every litre of gas hasn't posted yet so I assume that is just takes longer to post.

Yup I got there. Used $40 in cash miles, so earned 30 + 2 + 10. Better than nothing!

My gas and purchase posted. I've got the 50 plus the usual miles but not the 1 per litre. I also got an extra 5 for spend $5/5 but it said 'or $10/20'. I think this comes up every time I buy something...classic me to forget the extra miles, I would be very happy with some extra Fresca

I wasn't going to go out of my way to do the 20X offer this weekend as I don't really need anything. Then I printed a page and the ink came up low. I have the colours I need in the cupboard but I like to have backup there so I don't have to worry when that message pops up again.

Of course the ink comes to $119.99 so I need to find something else or lose out on 20AM. Found some pens at a decent price. Order done, need to wait to pick it up and have it post but that will work out.

I'm at the point that if it doesn't perfectly align with what I need, I'll just skip the offers. If I don't get gas at Shell, I'll support our local (small town) Esso and get PC points. I bought my printer ink a month ago, so am good with that, and it's not worth my gas to go somewhere to get AMs

Well that didn't work. Staples called to say they didn't really have printer ink in stock. The two they had were faulty (?). He asked if I still wanted to pick up the pens. No just cancel the order I place it again for delivery. Which is what I did.

I didn’t even contemplate the weekend offer this time. There are a couple things I need from Amaz but that never pans out for me so I will order that stuff later. I spent my weekend getting things done around the house. I have to say I feel like I accomplished a lot. There are still a few things on my list but with DD going on the disabled list Friday I will have plenty of time at home in the next couple of weeks.
