New terminal at MCO. the only issue we had was we did check bags and it took a long time to get them, but I don't think that's a Porter issue, that seemed to be an airport issue.Looking for information from any and all Porter experts. I was checking out flights to Orlando and Porter seems to be the less expensive option for when we are going. I want to book using AMs for the bonus offer.
My questions are, it will be DH and myself, each with one suitcase and a carryon. What level would be best? Do you pre book seats? Is there an extra cost? At MCO does it use the new terminal or the old ones?
Anything you can tell me would be greatly appreciated. Never really paid to much attention to Porter.
I just picked random dates here, only wanted to show you what's up when you use Airmiles to book Porter. If you click on the section that says "use dream miles" a box will open up to show you what you can select and how many miles each level costsLooking for information from any and all Porter experts. This breaks it down very nicely, thanks. Question, can you pay with partial miles? I'm about 300 short (as of right now) to get two flights for the Flexible option. There's an issue right now on the AMs site and it won't let me play with this idea. NEXT, go to the Porter site and see what's ATUALLY included with those fare levels.

We've booked the Flexible level for the flight south and went for the Reserve level on the way back because it always sucks to come home so those extra few perks are nice AND it was so much cheaper coming home!
When booking using miles the system will automatically book both directions on the same fare type.
For your situation i would go with Flexible since it includes 1 piece of checked luggage, a carry-on and person bag PLUS seat selection, just need to do that on the Porter site or thru the app once you've booked the flight. We LOVE the service, the planes are new, the free wifi is a bonus, and the new terminal isn't as busy.
So canadian resident hoppers are now available on th AM website. I purchased and immediately received an email with the code to link to my disney account. Thanks for posting information, I may do hoppers as well.
Note that Disney MAY charge you a bit more than the hopper addon price to upgrade IF airmiles purchased the tickets at a discount price. The added cost would be the discount given to airmiles. Only mentioning it as this has happened in the past. If you purchase and add on the hoppers, please post again!
At the bottom of the page when you go to book is a sliding scale. You must use at least 50% in AM the rest can be AM or Cash. This breaks it down very nicely, thanks. ETA- Can I pay for one flight with AMs and another with a Porter gift card?

Play golf, go to the parks and all of the above.OT question for my friends.....march break I will be driving solo home...drippkng girls at airport for around 6pm.....should I waitlist night at Hilton head? 5 hour drive...drive back and stay at SSR, maybe play a round if golf in the am...or just start driving north and stop on the way after a half day inte parks?
No right or wrong answer
I actually earned 29 miles in total. They found eggs and Jamaican patties. I will take those miles.I'm so excited and I just can't hide it. I found 2 receipts at the No Frills today which netted me 18 miles for waffles. I also found 1 the other day at Food Basics and earned 5 miles for eggs. I actually found 3 receipts today in total and 1 had eggs on it so I thought bonus, but no idea why it was still in the parking lot as it was from June 24th.
I think they only get posted monthly.Has anyone received miles from their Costco purchases last weekend? I haven't received my base ones yet and they are usually pretty quick. Still haven't received Michaels from a few weeks ago either.
For me, a 5 hour drive at 6 P.M. does not sound enjoyable. By the time you get there, get registered, get to bed, get to sleep, you might not feel like doing anything the next day. If you just start driving north you will stop at some point for sleep and then, I would bet a sum of money on this, the next day you will just want to get home and drive all the rest of the way with no break for enjoyment. Heading back to SSR and golf the next morning sounds so much more relaxing for a last day.OT question for my friends.....march break I will be driving solo home...drippkng girls at airport for around 6pm.....should I waitlist night at Hilton head? 5 hour drive...drive back and stay at SSR, maybe play a round if golf in the am...or just start driving north and stop on the way after a half day inte parks?
