That's a lot of Airmiles BUT yes you are going on a long Christmas Visit Hon.I took the plunge last night and cashed in 8000 Air Miles + some cash for 4 nights at the Drury during our 21-day Christmas visit. The non-refundable element makes me so nervous, but the 4000 Air Miles back lured me in.
I'm trying to get our costs as low as possible for such a long trip... Hoping to shave some more off with Scene points!
I truly hope these people get what's coming to them. (Can't say what that is online). So here's a little chuckle for you all. I had that Walmart fraud on my MC last week. I have (hopefully) got that all fixed up. A few minutes ago I received an email from Walmart asking me to rate the products I 'bought'. I now know, amongst other things, they purchased a very nice vacuum. I'm sure the new owner would give it a five star review.![]()
Are you at the Drury Disney Springs, or the Sand Lake location? The Disney Springs Location has in room safes and you have to pay for parking if you have a car. It is our favourite off property hotel. You will save money on food. They have breakfast, free popcorn and pop, free kickback at supper time and for all adults 3 free alcoholic beverages each per day. Beer, wine and cocktails. Free 24 hour coffee and tea on the main floor. Staff are wonderful and the hotel is very clean. The Disney park shuttles are good. The pool is salt water and they have a hot tub. The rooms have microwaves, a small fridge and a coffee maker, as well as a small bar sink. It is a 15 minute walk to Disney Springs. They also do not charge for parcel delivery. You will save lots of money staying at the Drury. If you need to rent a rollaway bed (they are quite comfy) it was only $10.00 per day last time we ordered a rollaway. The elevators are quick too.I took the plunge last night and cashed in 8000 Air Miles + some cash for 4 nights at the Drury during our 21-day Christmas visit. We're at the Disney Springs location. We will not have a car for most of this trip when we are able to use shuttles, so we'll be able to avoid parking charges. Besides the Drury, we'll be staying in a 2 bdrm suite at the Dockside for $111 per night. Are you at the Drury Disney Springs, or the Sand Lake location? $111/night for a suite?! That's a great price. Is that in US dollars? What are you dates? We're at the Disney Springs location. We're renting a car to head to South Carolina to visit family for a few days, and we'll keep it for a 5 day stay at Flamingo Crossings. But then we'll drop it off at the Hilton near the Drury when we arrive back there.
That sounds like such a good air miles deal. I also had never heard of the Drury before but just checked it out, sounds like a good place to stay esp with the free breakfast and free shuttle to the parks!I took the plunge last night and cashed in 8000 Air Miles + some cash for 4 nights at the Drury during our 21-day Christmas visit. The shuttles do two parks hollywood studios and animal kingdom Epcot and magic kingdom. Magic Kingdom is the TTC so you have monorail or ferry to magic kingdom park. We're at the Disney Springs location. It qualifies for early entry to the Disney Parks too. If you cant link your hotel reservation the front desk will give you a number that works. It's the Annual Passholder rate in USD and we booked it from Dec 15-20!$111/night for a suite?! That's a great price. Is that in US dollars? What are you dates?
We've stayed there a couple times before, as well as a couple times at the Universal location. We love that they include supper and drinks along with breakfast - such amazing value. Also the staff are just fantastic. Last time by an odd sequence of events we got to stay in one of the huge rooms on the top floor. We were able to watch fireworks AND the drone show from our room! The shuttles do two parks hollywood studios and animal kingdom Epcot and magic kingdom. When the shuttle pulled in we always verified which parks he was going to. We missed animal kingdom one time because the bus said hollywood studios before we knew they shared.
They also shuttle to Disney Springs but is over by house of blues. We found it better to walk to Disney Springs.
Is this your first time staying at the Drury Lake Buena Vista?
