It was a lovely chat with you. I chatted with the people around me and afterwards we compared winnings.got to have a nice chat with @juniorbugman while waiting for the doors to open on the dot of noon. No time for pictures or any chit-chat, told the guy at the door i had a train to catch and he just waved me in "grab something and take it to the till!"
For reference sake I grabbed a can that looked like it holds Pringles and said "freshly made bed" here's what I won (Pay attention to my background for the answer about catching the train) View attachment 875560View attachment 875561View attachment 875562
Hi HonWith airmiles receipts, has anyone gone under the threshold and received the airmiles???
Example, I'm looking at Freshco bathroom tissue $9.99 and airmiles offer bathroom tissue minimum $10 spend. Wondering if it will qualify (or I can go to Walmart $12.97 larger package). With PC optimum for example, $9.88 would qualify.
Hi Hon
I tried a $4.99 Cola purchase at FreshCo and it was refused last week ,,,threshold was $5.
I would try Walmart.

UHM, it's not like I was quiet about being thereGotta say Donald and Juniorbug,,,little disappointed with both of you.
Have a Dis friends meeting without inviting the rest of us,,,the nerve.
I know one of the people had a cheat sheet for the boxes but I have trying to google it and I haven't come up with anything yet. This event will be in Halifax on August 9. Let me know which boxes have the best prizes lol I am sure they change based locale as we don't have Kernels here anymore.
they apparently had to close early since they ran out of prizes, I would imagine they would close real early on their last day, probably won’t have any good prizes left anyways, especially if people have cheat sheets.I was just on social media and someone said they got there today at 1:30 and the line was over 3 hours long then so guess it was a good thing that @Donald - my hero and I were there for the 12pm opening. She was earlier than me as I got there around 11:20ish and there were already a dozen people ahead of me. I patiently waited for them to open. Apparently the lady who was first in line got there at 9am. Ummm nope nope nope. I was originally going after 4pm so guess it was better that I went at noon. When I left at 12:20 the line was way longer than when I arrived. So go early if you are planning on going. There may have been 60ish people in line when they opened at 12pm and of course it just kept getting longer and longer.
LOL...all but 9 miles of my haul have posted. IRMC the total was 92, so I got 83 but did have to submit a second inquiry for two receipts. I could go for 80ish in free miles every week.Just had 56 AMs post from 2 found receipts, it included things I wasn't even aware of. Sent in a missing miles request for 2 cucumbers they didn't include so that will hopefully be another 10.
This was a brilliant idea, thanks Dancing Disney Style!
Yup, a few extra each week would be a treat and so easy! Said it before and will say it again, this is brilliant.LOL...all but 9 miles of my haul have posted. IRMC the total was 92, so I got 83 but did have to submit a second inquiry for two receipts. I could go for 80ish in free miles every week.
This week has been pretty hectic in our house. DD moves to her DCL digs on Sunday. She's been trying to get the final few things done and get everything packed. The decision was to do only one complete pack. Last time she packed to go to rehearsals and then packed later to go to the ship. She's lucky that she has that option but decided this time to only pack once. The piles of stuff has been insane. It started in the spare room, covering the floor and bed...looked like a hoarding situation. Then it migrated out into the hallway so she could lay out the luggage. Anyway, she has spent 3 days trying to pack but gets frustrated and walks away. Now she thinks she has too much but can't part with anything. Her suitcases only weight 40lbs each but she still has a few things left to get in. I think it's all going to be fine. Some of her toiletries she will be using over the next 6 weeks so they will be lighter when she leaves for the ship. I also told her she can ditch some of the heavier/bulkier items (when departing for the ship) and just place an Amazon order to be waiting for her when she gets there...she also has the option to order things for delivery to her friends house down there because they will def see each other in the days she is there before embark.
Today I'm getting groceries and will also get DD some basics. With us driving her down we can bring the heavy things like milk and water. I've decided to put together a welcome basket for her roommates. I thought it would be nice to give them breakfast supplies for that first morning. I'm going to do coffee, tea, OJ, oatmeal packets, Made Good bars, Cobbs scones and a fruit tray. Knowing me there will be some other random things too.
Also....I don't recall who told me about Freedom Mobile but thank you! After I spent far too much time researching the options there really wasn't any reasonable option other than Freedom. They offer a plan that is a permanent roaming plan. It covers 90 some countries and in DD's case there is one that she will be traveling to that is not covered. It's only $45/month and includes 15gb data. She is aware that she only has data when in port but she should be fine at sea with her crew allotment of wifi and if not she will have to buy more. So I hope this works out.
