I just scanned and did the math…92 miles. Some went through, some are sitting on hold and some partially posted with the rest under inquiry.


Also, got gas today and did the instore purchase. I used DD’s card today. If all her offers stack it will end up with 210 miles. One more fill on that account this month. for another 50. I would say it’s been a good AM day

I only grocery shop online since 2020 - it’s annoying none of the apps let you redeem for online grocery orders. I buy from Walmart directly but they don’t put a receipt in the bag.

Some Instacart shoppers leave them in the bags by mistake which I like - got 27AM for a Food Basics order the other day. Cucumber and 2x Hot Dogs - only bought one pack of hot dogs but guess they counted Beyond Sausage as hot dogs. I won’t complain!

I bought frozen pizzas from Metro but the receipt shows frozen food! What’s this?! Why is it so hard to earn a few miles? I took a pic of the back of each box, and will attach a link to each pic if I have to submit an inquiry. I gave up last time with Siggi’s yougurt. Freshco receipt shows only Yogurt not Siggi’s yogurt. How hard is it to code things properly?!

the duck's hints for submitting receipts

1. Open the Airmiles app to the receipt section
2. spread the receipt on a clean spot on the counter
3. search for a writing utensil
4. Put an arrow beside every item that matches up with the list
5. submit the receipt after at least 3 complaints that it's blurry
6. Cross fingers tightly while peeking at the phone
7. submit an inquiry that I can now easily spell out where the item is and the fact that it has an arrow beside it! All they want you to do is tell them exactly what to look for, use as much detail as you can
8. Pizza is under frozen food section, shown as "whatever the receipt chose to spit out"
9. Wait up to a week and have those little miles pop up without fanfare!

So, is it annoying? Yes of course it is but we've earned well over 200 miles WITHOUT parking lot receipt hunting.

Another idea is to organize friends and family to keep their receipts and give them to you. A friend of mine is doing that!

It was for Metro,,, so being the anti litter nature lover that I am ,, I picked it up and figured
I'd scan it,,, WHOA it worked 8 bonus airmiles for flour.

Son says to me ,,ah a new hobby for you mom. LOL

Has anyone had their Shell AM post yet. I was stacking a number of offers. Just wonder what others have had post.

I got 1AM for the instore purchase, 10AM for the instore purchase, 1AM for gas purchase (30.4L) 50AM for my monthly Shell offer(1st fill up of 30L). The AM for the weekend bonus didn't post nor did my Airmiles offer of earn 1 AM get 50AM. I know those will likely come later.

After I resubmitted the receipt, I kind of got the right AM? The total was what I expected but they did it oddly, twice for the bacon and not once for the Siggis. Oh well, I guess in the end it worked out. Still not sure what I am saving for other than getting Onyx again lol. At least I can swap the miles between dream and cash. Be nice if that wasn't necessary though

I grabbed a cart at Thrifty Foods yesterday and there was a receipt just lying in it so I checked to see if there was anything interesting on it. Scanned it when I got home and voila, 7 AM for eggs!

5. How to Enter.


Entry Option A – Use Dream Miles™

During the Contest Period, a Collector will receive one or more entries into the Contest, based on the entry earning formula set out below, when they redeem AIR MILES® Reward Miles™ that the Collector has accumulated in their Collector Dream Account (“Dream Miles” or “Miles”), using the online Contest entry mechanism found on the website airmiles.ca/dreamsweepstakes The required Dream Miles redemptions and associated number of entries received are as follows:
