Hi all,
Has anyone had any luck with airmiles promos when amazon splits up an order? I had a $198 Amazon order which they split into two at 128 and 70. Was hoping this would count as a 150 order for the 100 miles. Can't even see that offer this morning anyways, maybe I dreamed it.

Editing to note I found the offer, it's on airmilesshops main page, 150 for 150 actually. Sigh.

I shopped at Dollarama on Friday and Saturday last week. Picked up a $30GC and a little other something. I haven't seen the AM post for the linked card offer (10AM) yet. Has anyone else had their GC purchases at Dollarama post yet? I know we'll be waiting for a long while for the 30x part of the transaction.

I bought mine on Sunday and no AM posted yet.

I just did a big shop at FreshCo. Went around the store with my calculator to make sure I made it up over $100. Got to the cash handed over my Scene card and paid for my groceries. Looked at the receipt to make sure I had received my 1675 pts and all I had was a message that I could have earned... Went to the Express Cash (which is customer service at my store) explained the situation... someone had to come from the office... explained again... they wanted to see my app... finally added my points for me. I have the receipt. The game never changes. We always need to be checking and making sure before we leave the store.

Same thing happened to me at Sobeys last week,,,4 appetizers and no 1600 Scene points.
Head cashier did add them for me.
Yep doesn't matter the reward program you still have to be on top of them.

Airmiles and BMO got the Dollarama things straightened out at some point overnight. I need to look at the terms and cross my fingers to see if there was a maximum of 75 miles for the 5X offer because I bought a LOT of gift cards expecting to get those miles.
We stopped at Metro on the way home from dinner last night and used 95 cash miles for the weekend offer and we plan to use cash miles at Shell plus an online order from Staples to get the 150 miles for using 3 offers plus the 150 from online shopping.

It seems that the Airmiles gods have been listening to me over the last few days - I have 2 great offers that will stack this weekend, we will get that Annual pass in no time at this rate!!!

This is a solid "depends" Amazon is a tricky beast at the best of times and during promos it seems to be even harder to figure out! What I've noticed with my postings is that my miles will post within 24 hrs of getting the shipping notice and *USUALLY* for these promos as soon as you meet the requirements the bonus miles will post almost immediately.

For this I would recommend you take a screenshot of the following in case you need to chase this down:
Amazon Categories currently included
The Airmilesshop promo terms & conditions
I would even go as far as taking a screenshot of what the amazon page looks like for each of the items at the moment- that shows what category they are in

Fingers crossed they post properly for you, if not use all of your info and contact them in 90 days after the promo ends, that's Dec 3rd.

spend $40 get 15,000 + 12,500 = 27,500



Plus a few other offers on stuff I usually buy = 15,000 Points
= 42,500 in total

my dollarama from last Friday and Saturday posted at about 10 pm tonight (that's Thursday!) So next is to see how many i get from both the 30x and the Mastercard 5x

My Dollarama 10 AM posted from last Friday, I wondered why the week before didn't but I didn't spend $30 that time I think all my Dollarama points (except the 30x) have posted now. Debating whether to use AM for one of the tickets I need and pay for the other one, or keep waiting a bit longer. Dollar doesn't seem to be doing that well.

Annual Passes for Universal question:

My parents are going to use air miles for their tickets and then on the last day of use, upgrade them to AP and pay cash for the difference.

Can they then apply their AP to their entire resort reservation for any room discounts even though it might be a couple of days before they check out?

why are they waiting to the end to upgrade?
I believe you have to present the pass at the start to get the discount, you pay for the room when you check in so need to do it then.

Well they want to ensure they will still have it for the same dates the following year. So if their trip is Feb 1-9, and they upgrade on Feb 8, they can use it again the following year for the same dates. If they do the upgrade right away on say Feb 2, then they won't have it to use for their dates the following year.

They like to visit the first week of February.

I don't think that will help them. From Universals T&C:
All ticket upgrades must be completed at Guest Services locations during the timeframe in which your admission ticket is valid. Upgrade available to Full Pay Annual or Seasonal Passes only. They may want to call and ask first. Unless they've done this before?

Disney is the same, if you upgrade a ticket to an annual pass they still take the first day you entered a park as the first day of the AP. Same with the hotel, you have to have an active AP when you check in to receive the discount. I don't think their plan will work but I do know that Universal has always been excellent at answering my questions so I agree with e suggestion of reaching out to them directly.

At one point, I haven't been recently, the AP room rates were difficult to get (limited in number and you needed to be watching to get them). Same as Disney discounts, they were only available for a limited number of rooms.

Amazon is so confusing! There’s a desk I have my eye on and logically, since furniture is included for September I would think it would be ok. But when I use the wishlist trick, it shows as Kitchen & Home . So likely no AM if I order it.

I cut my losses and walked out without purchasing anything. Just not sure if I should bother trying a different location over the weekend.

It's a Mastercard linked offer. You have to link a Mastercard (doesn't have to be the BMO AM one) and then use that to pay for your purchase. You don't show your card
