If you fly down in coach and you use frequent flyer ponits to upgrade to first class. Do you still get first class enlope and your bags tag with priority when you check in for your flight home or do you take your bags on to the bus and check in at the airport for first class treament

I would guess that you wouldn't get the first-class ticket folder for your boarding passes. In fact, I don't believe you get boarding passes at the cruise terminal at all. Although you can check your bags with the five airlines that serve the cruise terminal (American, Continental, Delta, Northwest, USAirways), you still have to check in at the airport to get your boarding passes. As for the "Priority" tags that you sometimes get when you fly first class, I've never noticed that it actually makes any difference in how soon your bags appear on the baggage carousel.

We flew on US Airways with a confirmed frequent flyer upgrade coming back from the cruise. Not only were we given the boarding passes when we chacked in at the port, but we did get the 1st Class envelope and the priority tags. As Dave says, though, they never seem to make a difference. In fact, coming into MCO, our luggage did not make it.
