Airline Baggage Question

I am looking to book flights on Delta for our trip next month, but am having an issue with our return flight. We're booking First Class, so we'll get free baggage, but on the last leg of our return for some reason all that day, all of the planes to our home airport are small and have no First Class.

Does anyone know what happens in this instance as far as baggage charges go? Will we be charged baggage fees for the last bit since we will then be in Coach?

Agree with gmeh1, but I would be surprised if they charge you because of a single leg.

One thing to keep in mind, with planes that small, even carry on bags will be 'gate' checked. You'll put a pink tag on the bag, leave it either plane side or in the jetway (depending on how you get on the plane) and it will be returned when you get off the plane at the next stop (NOT at baggage claim).

You can still bring on a bag that fits under the seat in front of you.

No need for this; it appears bags will be checked at the first leg, so they will be transferred by the airline for additional legs.

OP - You will get your free checked bag for all legs. No need to call Delta.

They won't charge you. My mom lives in one of those commuter jet cities and they don't charge her if I book her in First.
