Anyone getting good airfare lately? I've be booking soon and I'm not sure who to go with. We've done Canada 3000 and Air Transat in the past.

Air Canada has a seat sale on now, but travel has to be completed by Feb. 28. You might try waiting to see if they have another sale... Keep checking their web site at www.aircanada.ca
for info. (But I would suggest phoning the 800 number for actual booking. It can be a long wait during the day. I called at midnight the other day to confirm my reservation and had no wait.)

Sample current prices are Ottawa-Orlando $169 one-way; Toronto-Orlando $149 one-way. Not quite as good as I got, but close.

I booked on Sept. 9 during the last seat sale, which actually ended on Sept. 11! I almost waited too long and didn't get my first choice of dates with 5 seats available.....The Ottawa-Orlando rate was about $149 one-way; when we doubled that for return fare and then added on all the extra charges and taxes, it came to about $398. We're going next week!

You could check some of the American airlines too. You can fly them out of Canada, or if you live close to the border, you could drive across the border and fly out of a US city.

The two return tickets which I had to buy (got two with frequent flyer miles) were $186 in US Dollars on USAir. That's approx. $290 Cdn. at today's exchange rate. Gives you something to use as a comparison - I bought them in June for our trip next week.
