Booking airfare is like playing the lottery. I book when its a price I'm comfortable with, usually $200-$250/pp (we live in the Northeast).
 
OOOH I'm glad they got rid of it. :banana::banana: We stopped flying JetBlue and started flying Southwest just because of this.

This is one of the main reasons I fly Jetblue. I think they are one of the few that do give a credit. My flights went down twice in two days, and they gave me a credit each time. I was worried that they would tell me that they already gave me a credit, but they didn't.

That's why we loved them. Flew them 5-6 times a year. But then about 2 years ago when they started charging the $40 fee- we stopped flying them for the most part. I wrote a letter and of course got a generalized response letter saying that because of the economy blah, blah, blah. I guess enough people started complaining.:thumbsup2
