airfare internet rates, do they generally go down over the weekend?

Or at night? I thought I had read that somewhere... Saw a small increase from last night to this morning and was wondering if I should wait and see if it goes back to what it was. It isn't for Orlando. It is for Savannah (Hilton Head).

Exactly the opposite as a general rule; airlines tend to float price increases over the weekend, but often back down by Monday afternoon if sales don't hold.

Certain airlines often release new fares at predictable times. SWA tends to release new fares in the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday &/or Thursday.

Yep. I priced a flight on aa.com this morning and just checked again after reading the above note and the price has gone from $283 to $210.
