So I was going to by our tickets down to the Orlando on Friday, coming from Seattle for our Seapt trip. Saturday and last week the avg from delta was about 90.00. I check Sunday,Mon,Tues and today and since Sunday it jump to 149.00!:scared1:. One week late:sad1:. So yesterday I check again around and found AA had about the same 95.00, to day 167.00 I am I doomed?. I was really banking on that 90.00 rate, should i risk waiting maybe another two weeks? or get that rate?. SW has not came out with there rates for Sept yet so I guess I could wait foir them or Air tran there not quite there eather. I just do not want to wait and get caught with a higher rate,so very scary!!:scared1:

None of us can predict with any accuracy what is going to happen with these fares. When the price hits something you can live with, buy your tickets.

If you found a flight with a price of $90.00 each way from Seattle, you should have grabbed it.

Ya I should of bought it then:confused3, but I could not get untill tomrrow:sad2:. But I thought I missed something like a sudden gas hike,or a special i was unware of. I just wanted to see if any one might of hered, read or possiple new of a up coming trend?.:goodvibes

No, but we all must realize that the airlines are not going to have the same deals in the future that they have had in the past. From what has been written on other threads, the tourist should jump on a good deal quickly.

Just out of curiosity, isn't your best fare now right around $340 roundtrip?

Ya I have to buy it In segments(Money reasons) but I thought about flying souwest back any way. I will wait untill the 11th of Febuary, see If the prices drop, maybe they will, maybe not?, but I will buy the tickets down there regardless of price by then. I was a little taken back by the sudden jump, thought I might have miss something. I am curious to find out when southwest is extending there schedule?. I might wait until then and maybe get RT?

Last year was the most I have paid (in the last few years, but it was a direct flight) was $500 Canadian for 2 people return out of SEA.

When I contacted my travel agent and had her check prices for this years trip in November 2010 the price was going to be $400 return for 2 people. She couldn't book it as my return date wasn't available until the following week. On the Thursday it became available - she was leaving on a trip and never called me and I forgot to call her. By the time I remembered it was too late the price is now over $700 US for 2 people. This is also the earliest that I have ever looked at prices, so I hope that they will drop.

Now I am waiting until Southwest opens the dates I want. I usually book around March or April.
