Trying to plan our first ever Christmas trip to Disney, and 1st trip in over 4 years. It seem like forever since we have been there and already getting excited! For anyone who has flown from BDL, PVD, or BOS to MCO during this time period during 2013 (hoping to leave 12/18 or 12/19 and come home 12/28), could you please give me an idea of what your airfare was and when you booked? Thinking of booking Southwest as soon as fares are released, as I know that I can get a credit if fares go lower.

We live 15 minutes for Worcester Airport, and I will check JetBlue when fares are released. They had awesome fares this year, but I can't compare those to this year since they had sale fares for adding Worcester as a new airport for them. Also, I am nervous about using them from Worcester due to only having a couple of flights per day. Their massive grounding of flights due to storms earlier this season also worries me. We have always flown SW on previous trips, which were all summertime. Thanks!

I fly to WDW in early Dec. have for the past 10 years. Tried to use Worcester on the flight this past Dec....ended up being bused to Logan. They couldn't get our plane in the night before....had a 7:30am flight. Did have a great experience there in late January though.
Providence is probably the one that has the least flight disruption...just far enough south to be out of our snow belt up in central Ma!

As far as costs go, if I found airfare, for a non-stop flight, for under $300 I would be happy. $250 and I would be over the moon, but that isn't likely. I would probably figure around $300 or so. But in all reality? It's really hard to tell.

Our family flew down 12/21/13-1/5/14 round trip from Manchester, NH. I got tickets for $157 each way. Jumped on those prices.

Exactly why I am afraid to book out of Worcester during snow season! I would love to fly with JetBlue, but not from here during winter. Glad you were able to fly from Boston once transported there though, as it could have been when they grounded their planes for 24 hrs. You confirmed my worries concerning flying from Worcester, as well as what to be expected for fares. Looks like we'll be flying 4 of us for a little more than what we paid for 5 on our trip into TPA last summer. I will watch fares into TPA, but not sure if the difference will be enough on 4 fares to justify renting a car. I just had dinner literally right at the bottom of the road up to Worcester Airport, and it snowed all the way home AGAIN! Wish I could grab a wing and fly south now! Thanks!
