Normally airfare is around $190 per person , round trip. Currently, for Memorial Day Weekend, it is $300 !! Any opinions as to if waiting another month to six weeks will get me lower or higher airfare ?? The airline I usually fly is Airtran.

Thanks!

I am by far no expert with airfare. But with gas prices going up and up and up... will the flight come down? I think that is a question to think about. Also can you afford to pay that fare and are you willing to?

I know that does not help but I guess it is up to you. Before I got ready to book our trip. I decided that I would not pay more than 250 each for air from Milwaukee to Orlando. I got mine for 217.40 and now it is at 263.01. So I was :cool1: I booked when I did.

But it all depends. I was ready to cancel our trip if I could not get air under 250.

Debby7, if you buy the tix now and prices drop, you can call the airlines back and ask for a voucher for the difference (normally expires one year from purchase). Most airlines will accomodate you because they know you'll come back. I purchased Southwest tix for $79 and they dropped to $49 each way. So for four RT tix, that saved me $240 .... enough to pay for at least one RT ticket.

Hope this helps...
