Hi,
We are going to Disney Aug 25-Sept 3 . I am soooo excited . We have been many times. We usually fly with Spirit because it has been the cheapest flights. But, they have dropped their late afternoon departure from Orlando :confused3. I think we might try NWA. Has anyone flown nwa from Detroit to Orlando. Spirit air is Very 'no frills". My kids :dance3: would like to fly with air canada because of the commercials on tv. The flight would be 2500 vs 900. Does nwa have tv's on the backs of the seats ?. Is it more comfortable than spirit?. I would be open to any suggestions. We can depart Buffalo or Detroit. We live in London, Ontario. Ps..I have never seen a decent price out of Canada. Any tips would be great.
Thanks!

We have used NWA out of Regina & Minot ND . None of the planes we were on had a tv.

We used NWA out of Detroit for our trip last month...

VERY no frills...no tvs, no radio, no entertainment of any kind. One softdrink included, and peanuts. $3 for pringles etc...

That being said....seats were reasonably comfy, armrests raise, so youngest dd laid down and slept the whole way home....flight is only 2-1/2 hours (or less, depending on tailwind)...

We took gameboys, books, and activity books, and both dds did just fine....10 and 6.

I wouldn't hesitate to use them again.:thumbsup2

Oh...and Detroit airport for NWA is very easy....use the train, go all the way to the left hand end....arrivals and departures are at the same place (same gates, even)

You can do seat selection at 90 days, but then keep an eye on them....they changed planes on one leg, and my kids eded up seated at the other end of the plane! I called and they were AWESOME about fixing it....

Oh! Bags are $15 U.S. each (checked) too....

We have flown NWA for the last 3 trips. Very no frill but very inexpensive compared to flying out of Canada. No TV, but I did find the seats roomy. If you are flying early morning and on the weekend, try the park and fly package from the Westin hotel right in the airport. And register for Worldperks if you plan on flying NWA again.
