When looking to purchase seating on AT I noticed they have prices of 15.00, 13.00, 6.00 & 20.00 (exit row) Any body know what the difference is in the 15 & 13?
I booked my seats back in May and it was that way. I believe the $13.00 and $15.00 option are about a year old or maybe less. There has always been the option for the $20.00 to sit in the exit row.
You had to roll the mouse over the seat to see the different seat charges. Sounds like you just naturally picked seats that were $6.00.
You get to board sooner if you buy the $13 or $15 seats - as well as exit row. Or, you can take your chances when you do online check-in 24 hours in advance, get a free seat, and pay $10 if you want priority boarding. I did the latter on my flight to Orlando on Oct. 23rd.
Well I went ahead and purchased my seat for 13.00 and it automatically gave me my return seat at no extra charge. Not sure why except I used AT credit card and also member of A+ rewards. Though that's never happened in the past.

I just explained this one to DH last night the pilot is a rock star and you are at a concert it costs more to sit closer to the stage. Closer to the exit and the last ones to board the plane is the correct answer but it seemed to help him when I made the analogy...
