Air Tran flight changes

I'm thinking of booking Air Tran for our cruise in August. I've never flown with them, but I remember a few years ago reading that they were notorious for changing flight times and changing non-stop flights to connecting flights. Is this still happening on a regular basis? We've never had any issues with JetBlue or Southwest but AirTran has a better return time after the cruise, so I need to consider them this trip.
Thanks in advance. :)

We flew AirTran last year and the day before our flight I was sent an email that they had cancelled our flight but was placed on the next flight that was scheduled. Granted, the new flight left an hour later than the original flight so I didn't care, but I don't know how they are now.

Since Airtran was taken over by Southwest I have not seen the flight schedule changes that Airtran was famous for. Their shedules are releaased at the same time as Southwest and seem to remain the same from when they were first released.

There was just a Diser who posted last week that their Airtran flight changed by 6 hours later. If your flight times change simply call them and ask to be put on another flight. That is what I did a few years ago and it cost me nothing and the flight they changed me to is the one I wanted in the first place but the price was a lot higher. Oh and my flight time had only changed by 30 minutes but they still changed me to another flight.

We booked our Airtran flights last September for a trip at the end of March. The flight to MCO has changed once...to 45 mins earlier. I was able to rebook to the day before with no charge.
