So I went over to Air Tran's web site to make a note of how large a checked bag can be. We are flying them in a couple of months, so I want to start figuring out how much stuff I can take. Anyway, it seems they have redone the luggage part of their web-site, and I can't for the life of me see where they straight out tell you what size a check bag needs to be.
They list how large a bag they will check for active duty. They tell you how much the oversize fees will be. But they don't tell you the size limit of a normal checked bag. Should I just guess as long as it isn't listed as oversized it is ok?
Also, I want to mention they are changing the size of their accepted carry-ons and making them smaller. Maybe part of the change before they become Southwest? Starting March 1 a carry-on must be 24+16+10, which is a bit smaler than they currently are allowing.
