Hi.
I am ready to book my dd on a Delta flight, non stop from JFK-Rome, Italy (FCO) February 27-March 7, 2015, non stop.

Some flights says operated by Alitalia air and others say operated by Air France. Do I want to choose one over the other, cost/times are about equal.

THANK YOU VERY MUCH!

Well, if the times and prices are the same, this might be exactly the same flight on exactly the same aircraft, due to the code-share.

It appears that the aircraft involved would probably be an Airbus A330. The web site http://seatguru.com would be your friend in this case.

In any case, either airline (AirFrance and Alitalia) are both relatively good, so in the end, it really doesn't make a lot of difference which you go with.

Thank you very much. The code-share for AirFrance was with a stop and she/we wanted non-stop so we took the Delta fight code shared with Alitalia.
Thank you again!
