Hi,
Does anyone know where to get some reasonable rates for flights right now??We are from NY so the cheapest i have found was about 248. per person....Someone told me that they seen a commercial where they were offering cheaper prices does anyone know what airline that was???

We are from Buffalo & were able to get $180 round trip per person on AirTran, going thru Atlanta last year at this time....I would check a little further....your price sounds high....I am jealous though! We can't go until February.....I am already checking prices....Susan

I just booked Spirit out of LGA for $39. one way travelling in October. I couldn't tell if you want to travel now or just buy now.
Good Luck

hi
we normally fly out of albany but the rates for our dates in october were high so we opted to fly delta out of Boston
as we are a party of 8 we saved over 600. total and we only have to drive 3 hours

What dates are you going and how many people??

Flying out of Laguardia to MCO on 10/20 and returning 10/27

$190. total for both me and my DD

Non stop flight on Spirit

We are flying out of Syracuse on US Airways on 9/25 for $118 rt. I booked it directly thru the airline.

I checked and there are also $118 rt rates available out of Rochester and Buffalo. Would any of those locations work for you?

It is almost never cheaper to fly out of Toronto. Many Toronto residents and other Ontarians tend to fly out of Buffalo. So BUF is very likely your best bet. Try JetBlue if you don't mind a stop and like flying a first rate carrier for a very low price - their website is very easy to use and you can compare one day versus the next to figure out what works best for you in terms of price and schedule. For non-stop, you can try Southwest, which tho less comfortable then JetBlue, can be cheaper and has the non-stop BUF-MCO flights. Southwest also has a good website.

Good luck.

edited to add:
It is looking like the best price is gonna be Southwest, plus you get to go non-stop. I plugged 12/20 and 12/28 in on SWA's site and chose only non-stops at times I consider civilized (early arrival in MCO later departure from MCO) and came back with a little under $250 per person, or less than $2,000 for the whole fam-damily. That's a very good deal for Christmas time tix in my book. Better jump on them fast.
